Nakuru Career fair

Sometimes it’s hard to believe that education is relevant and important without proof and concrete examples, especially if students don’t have access to a good role model inside or outside of the classroom. For those students that learn by example, bringing in real-life professionals to talk about their careers is an excellent way to help connect learning to life and keep students engaged in school.

Raf International University Career Day that was held on  the 8th of December 2018 in Nakuru, was designed to give an opportunity to interact and sell the university’s’ vision, educate students on courses available to them as they consider the next stage of their academic lives, as well as giving them an opportunity to make informed choices as they select their courses at the end of their  high school lives.

The event was used to:

  • Offer career advice to students aspiring to join university
  • Learn more about application process/timelines
  • Provided information on the programs on offer
  • Discover new options

One never injured multi-marathoner’s stride was so smooth, she ran like an insect over water. Weight was not a factor, with heavy runners among the light-footed and lighter runners among the stompers.
